Artworks on Salvaged Metal by Brothers of Light

I initial came upon Brothers of Light’s winsome, witty aesthetic on the streets of Jerusalem various many years ago. I was an instant enthusiast. Presently on perspective at 30 Yefet Street — a stately, atmospheric constructing in Jaffa — is From Dirt, a delightfully intriguing exhibition featuring dozens of artworks fashioned this earlier year from metals discovered exterior the brothers’ studio place. Showcased earlier mentioned is Crossing the Bridge — fabricated with industrial paint on salvaged steel. Several much more visuals I captured even though checking out the exhibition previously this week follow:

“Everything Is Momentary,” Industrial paint on identified metallic

“No Suffering No Gain” and “Cuchara” to its still left, Industrial paint on discovered metallic kitchen utensils

“What Do You Try to eat?” Industrial paint on uncovered metal kitchen area utensil

“Time Sinking,” Industrial paint on observed metal

“Suddenly,” Industrial paint on found steel

“Throwback,” Industrial paint on discovered metallic

Phase of exhibition mainly that includes small works–

Created by Brothers of Gentle — real-existence siblings, Elna and Gab — and curated by Hadas Glazer, From Dirt is at once  environmentally conscious and aesthetically engaging. It carries on via Saturday evening with a closing get together beginning at 6pm. A shorter film by Amalia Zilbershatz-Banay and Dan Deutsch accompanies the exhibition.
